Paradigms are such pesky things to shift: until the dissonance reaches an unbearable level. The CW paradigm and the materialist paradigm will remain steadfast until the holders cannot take it anymore. It is interesting that, as you note, they are somewhat connected. All we can do is keep shining light and try to keep the heat to a minimum.

I am primal and a creationist. I find this to be completely without contradiction. I guess to sum up my reasoning you can say that God created man and all the food man needed to thrive and be healthy. The Primal Blueprint emphasizes choosing whole foods that are naturally available over processed foods that are not naturally available. God created all these foods for man.

The same scientist that believe in evolution also believe that vegetable oil is healthier than animal fats and has been preaching that for the last 60 years. I know that there are dissenting views in the scientific community, but the majority are still "healthy whole grains" and unsaturated fats are the key to being healthy and maintaining a healthy weight, something all Primal/Paleo folks reject.
