Sidewalk Foraging and Finding Blessing

Sidewalk foraging

I have a routine: nearly every Saturday, I go to a local outdoor mall, have breakfast, work on my dissertation, and go grocery shopping. In late summer and early fall another activity is added: foraging. This particular mall is blessed with a small guava tree and, since the fruits fall to the ground in a public area, they are free for the taking. Yum.

Amazing what happens when you put yourself in a place to find goodness.
